What a wonderful day for change, but foremost in my mind is the return of the United States from being an international joke.

  1. I want to believe it. I have worked hard for this moment. I want to see McCain concede. I want to see all the votes tallied. I want reassurance. I want guarantees. The fat lady is getting ready to sing!

  3. They’re replaying Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert’s special again right now and I’m cheering along with them again. I think my neighbor thinks I’m nuts. :) Last night I had MSNBC’s coverage on all night.

  4. I’m exhausted today- so much emotion last night, and I couldn’t sleep a wink. I ended up blowing through the last couple hundred pages of Tree of Smoke (good book), and even started Absurdistan in a failed attempt to lull myself to sleep. If this happens again in the near future, at least I know I can go over the border to Massachusetts and score some decriminalized weed to put me to sleep, lol!

    Did you abandon your fine blog after the election? Haven’t seen a recent post since, but I’ll check back every now and again to see if you resume the mission. If so, I look forward to the future work. If not, then I certainly enjoyed it while it lasted. Cheers!
